2021 One Word At A Time Virtual Event
In honor of National Stroke Awareness Month, Austin Speech Labs holds its annual One Word At A Time fundraiser each May. The 12th annual Austin Speech Labs fundraiser, One Word At A Time, was held virtually on May 6, 2021. You can view a recording online live-streaming event here. A Look Back at the 2020 One Word A Time Virtual Event
The 2020 One Word At A Time Virtual Event originally scheduled for May 7, 2020 at the Four Seasons hotel was our first virtual LIVE YouTube and Facebook event on June 4, 2020 at 7 PM CDT. It was an inspirational live program that celebrated our clients' accomplishments and helped raise funds for stroke recovery. The half-hour live event also included a special presentation from Dr. Steven Warach, a neurologist specializing in vascular neurology, the director of the Stroke Institute and a board member of Austin Speech Labs. Watch his recent appearance on KXAN here. We are excited to share that we met a $100,000 Fund a Need match from a very generous donor and raised over $400,000! All funds raised for the 2020 One Word At A Time Virtual Event directly support Austin Speech Labs operations.
